At 53.5 million-strong, Millennials are now the largest generation in the US workforce. Worried about training younger staff just to see them leave in 1-1 1/2 years? Feeling stuck or behind in technology, ways of doing business, and seeing stagnant sales or reduced profit? You've got a hidden treasure sitting right within your company's walls that can help you identify buying behavior, help your company be more attractive to a younger market, and be the epicenter of your industry engagement.
There's a reason that PPAI's Board of Directors has listed generational awareness as one of their three strategic objectives for the next 3-5 years. It is imperative that you as a business leader be proactive in identifying emerging talent so that you properly recruit and retain a younger workforce.
The roadmap to success is no longer accruing 10-15 years of experience before becoming a leader - it's empowering all of your employees to be leaders where they're at right now in their current roles.
Included in this session are insights and best practices from leaders in the industry who have seen and capitalized on the value that Millennials bring and how they've affected each company, from modernization to efficiency to new ways of interacting internally and externally - all positively affecting the bottom line and your connection to the market.
Seth is the Diversity Development & Engagement Manager for PPAI. As an advocate for the industry's marketplace success, Barnett develops new ways for business to meet the growing demand of a diverse workforce and a changing buyer market.
